Ningbo Marathon 2023

The reporters learnt from the Ningbo Marathon Organizing Committee that the Ningbo Marathon 2025 is scheduled to start on March 23, and the starting point of the track will be set at the Sanjiangkou area for the first time.

This event is certified by the Chinese Athletics Association, hosted by the Sport Bureau of Zhejiang Province and the Ningbo Municipal People's Government, and undertaken by the Ningbo Sports Bureau, the Haishu District People's Government, the Yinzhou District People's Government, the Administrative Committee of Ningbo National High-tech Industrial Development Zone, and the Administrative Committee of Ningbo Dongqian Lake Tourism Resort.

It is learnt that the event will follow the organization and operation of the Chinese Athletics Association (Class A1). Currently, the certification of and preparation for the event is being carried out in an orderly manner, and registration is expected to start in mid-January.

2025 marks the 10th anniversary of the holding of the Ningbo Marathon, and the event will undergo a major upgrade.

The Ningbo Marathon 2025 will start at the Sanjiangkou area, heading west along the Zhongshan East Road and passing through the Tianyi Square, the Drum Tower, the Yongfengku Site, the Tianning Temple Pagoda, the Wangjingmen Site, the Tianyi Pavilion, the Moon Lake Scenic Area, the Lingqiao Bridge, the Qing'an Guild Hall, the International Convention and Exhibition Center (finish line of Half Marathon), the Eastern New Town, and the Dongqian Lake, and with the finish line set at the International Convention Center.
