In order to promote the development of the automobile industry in the Jiangbei District, the Jiangbei New Energy Car Life Festival opened on August 22.

The car sales industry is an important component of the commercial business industry in the Jiangbei District. As of now, Jiangbei boasts three major car sales service enterprise clusters, including the Jiangbei Renowned Car Avenue, the Zhuangqiao Majing Car Park, and the Car Sales Business along the Huancheng North Road (Yongjiang Car City). Thanks to these clusters, the total car sales revenue in the whole district has realized rapid growth. From January to July this year, the sales volume of car sales companies above the designated limit added up to 7.83 billion yuan, with an increase of 9.7% year on year. Jiangbei boasts 47 car sales enterprises above the designated limit and more than 30 brands, having been contributing a lot to the commercial business development in the Jiangbei District.

At the activity, Ms. Liu, a consumer, was consulting in front of the stall set up by the Ningbo BYD Qianyuan Xinjing Car Sales Co., Ltd.. “Now, more and more friends around choose to buy new energy cars. Today, I’ve consulted several brand new energy car sales companies. I’m considering to change to drive a new energy car.” Ms Liu told reporters, “Considering the comfort, driving cost, environmental protection and so on, new energy cars are quite attractive among young consumers.”

As is learnt, this car festival set up about 20 stalls, preserved by new energy car enterprises, including the BYD, Tesla, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, BMW, Denza, SAIC VOLKSWAGEN, FAW VOLKSWAGEN, BUICK, ARCFOX, Cadilac and so on. These enterprises provide services such as onsite car booking, trial driving appointment and so on. Meanwhile, a service area for secondhand cars was also set up, carrying out evaluation activities. In addition, themed publications on daily use and notices of new energy cars, secondhand car sales, new energy intelligent technologies and so on were available.

A relevant person in charge of the Jiangbei District Bureau of Commerce said that this activity is held to follow the requirements on taking measures to restore and expand consumption, put forth by the General Office of the State Council, so as to provide consumers with more choices and to effectively expand consumption on new energy cars through ways of policy subsidies, group exhibit and preferential discounts, and so on.
