Recently, under the organization of the Ningbo Volleyball Association, volleyball players from the Zhuangqiao Central Primary School visited the venue for the beach volleyball game of the Asian Games in Banbianshan, Xiangshan, experiencing the atmosphere of the Asian Games in advance.

The beach shines under the blue sky and white clouds. Beach volleyball is seen by many as a passionate and healthy sport. The beach volleyball game base of the Hangzhou Asian Games is conveniently located in the Banbianshan Scenic Area in Xiangshan. The C-shaped semi-open main stadium is equipped with huge white convertible roof, and blue and white audience seats... You can not only an overlook of the beautiful scenery of the East China Sea, but also feel the hot sports atmosphere here. 

"Every grain of sand here is carefully selected." Bao Shengji, Secretary-general of the Ningbo Volleyball Association, said that there are strict standards for sand used in beach volleyball games. All the sand used in the court is transported from Wenchang, Hainan. There are strict requirements for the size, color, granularity and edges of each grain of sand. The students stepped on the soft sand and experienced beach volleyball for the first time. They jumped, pounced, rolled, and spiked, showcasing the joy brought by the beach volleyball games.

Later on, the students and teachers of the school volleyball team watched two amateur beach volleyball games in East China in 2023. Although it is an amateur competition, the players have demonstrated the abundant physical fitness, exceptional skills, and astonishing perseverance of beach volleyball players. The students also exchanged information about the competition and cheered for the players on the field.

Volleyball has always been a characteristic sport item taken by the Zhuangqiao Central Primary School. In this year's Boys' and Girls' Group B Volleyball Competitions of the Ningbo Games (For Youth), the girls from the Zhuangqiao Central Primary School won the group championship and the boys were the runner up in their respective groups. This immersive visit to the venue for the beach volleyball games of the Asian Games has ignited the enthusiasm of students to further learn volleyball. Song Chunya, Captain of the girls' volleyball team, said excitedly: "It's so exciting. We were able to get close to the Asian Games venue, learn about beach volleyball, and fully feel the charm of beach volleyball."
