A set of fluent movements, accompanied by magnificent music, the opening ceremony was kicked off in the powerful martial arts movements of students from the Cicheng Central Primary School; the sketch "Volunteering Everywhere" brought by the Jiangbei District Quyi Artists Association vividly showcased the core of volunteer service in Ningbo, using the form of clapper rap to elaborate volunteer actions; the theme song "I Wish" dedicated to the volunteer service for the Asian Games in Ningbo pushed the event to a climax.

In Ningbo, there are 2.2 million registered volunteers and over 14,000 volunteer service organizations. "Everyone willing to volunteer all the time" has gradually become a new trend in Ningbo. As the Asian Games is around the corner, 10 districts (counties, cities) in the city have successively established volunteer service positions for "welcoming the Asian Games".

At the event, volunteer representatives took the stage to jointly light up the urban volunteer service belt for "Welcoming the Asian Games" in Ningbo. In order to motivate volunteers to serve the Asian Games, it was announced at the event that starting from March 1, volunteers who rank among the top 50 in terms of check-in time on the Ningbo We Volunteer Platform are qualified to go to the Xiangshan Beach Volleyball Center to watch the Asian Games beach volleyball competition.
