On May 6, the Jiangbei District Modern Community Construction Leading Group Meeting was held. Li Guanjie, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Jiangbei District Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Commission, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech. District leaders, including Cheng Li, Yu Yongfeng, and so on attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the progress of the early stage work for modern community construction in the entire district, the key points of work for 2023, and the relevant situation of the "four lists" were reported and reviewed.

Li Guanjie pointed out that the current and future period is a critical period for the deepening and expansion of modern community construction in urban and rural areas. We should focus on five key points, namely improving ideological awareness, maintaining working continuity, doing a good job in coordination, strengthening working guidance, and bringing the sense for the masses, to ensure that the construction of modern communities in urban and rural areas is organized, powerful, and with means, platforms, and elements, and to realize everyone's participation, contribution, construction and sharing.

Li Guanjie stressed that the whole district should thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the important discourse on urban and rural community work, plan to promote the construction of urban and rural modern communities based on the big scene of the Chinese path to modernization, focus on building the basic unit of the Chinese path to modernization, and strive to provide more Jiangbei experience for the whole city and the province as a whole. All localities and departments should focus on the "Nine Major Reforms, Sixteen Major Actions, and Sixteen Things for the Benefit of the People" as the main focus, and do a good job on four aspects. Firstly, we need to highlight the leadership of Party building and improve the grassroots foundation, continuously promote empowerment, strengthen grassroots forces, and deepen classified governance. Secondly, we need to highlight high-quality sharing and improve service levels, promote the construction of future communities and rural areas, optimize services for key groups, and create community characteristic cultural brands. Thirdly, we need to highlight promoting wealth creation and enhancing development momentum, vigorously implement the integrated reform of strengthening villages and enriching the people, as well as the integrated reform of "strengthening community construction and benefiting the people", and continuously strengthen the drive of joint construction. Fourthly, we need to highlight the integration of normal and urgency to improve the co-governance system, focus on creating a new era "Fengqiao Experience" urban version, and comprehensively build a grassroots governance dynamic that integrates the "Five Governance".

He also stressed that all member units should carry out themed education in combination with high quality, go deep into the front-line research of villages and communities, study problems and think about countermeasures, make efforts to do a better job in the construction of urban and rural modern communities, and truly let the "small window" of the community reflect the "new style" of the city for the demonstration of the Chinese path to modernization.
