Recently, Fei Weihua, Director of the Standing Committee of the Jiangbei District People's Congress, led a team to conduct a mid-term research on and evaluation of the implementation of the "14th Five-year" Plan in the Jiangbei District. In the afternoon on the same day, the research team arrived at the construction site of Yunfei Road Phase II and listened to the introduction of relevant responsible persons to the construction situation of the road project and surrounding areas. It is reported that the Yunfei Road Phase II is an important road in the development and construction blueprint on the north bank of the Yuyao River, especially in the area west of the Olympic Sports Center. Currently, the two sections of the Yunfei Road Phase II project have been in operation since May and June this year, and the construction is now in full swing.

At the subsequent symposium, a relevant leader of the Yaojiang New City Development and Construction Command reported on the regional planning, land investment attraction, and project construction progress and so on of the Yaojiang New City; the person in charge of the command center for "secondary development" in the emerging industry development zone and industrial zone reported on the industrial planning, industrial layout, and project progress of the parks. Attendees put forward opinions on and suggestions for optimizing industrial investment in the next stage, doing a good job of "industrial upgrading", and integrating various resources, etc..

Fei Weihua fully affirmed the achievements that had been made by relevant departments in the development of the Yaojiang New City and the construction of emerging industrial development zones. He said that all relevant departments should fully understand the importance of the mid-term evaluation of the implementation of the "14th Five-year" Plan, comprehensively analyze and summarize, and objectively evaluate the progress and effectiveness of the implementation of the "14th Five-year" Plan. In the development of the Yaojiang New City and the construction of the emerging industrial development zone, it is necessary to firmly grasp the macro situation, transform working ideas, actively explore new concepts, methods, and models for development, take into account the overall planning, continue to incubate a number of future industries, cultivate real emerging industries, effectively improve the pertinence and matching of introduced projects, and continuously improve the spatial guarantee and carrying capacity for the sustainable development of regional industries. We should take the construction of major municipal projects as an opportunity to attract a group of advantageous resources to drive the development of projects in Jiangbei; in the later planning, construction, and operation of various relevant departments, their work should be more refined and precise to ensure the smooth completion of various goals and tasks proposed in the "14th Five-year" Plan and to better serve the overall economic and social development in Jiangbei.
