Considering the influence of low temperature, heavy rain and other factors during the Spring Festival this year, there may be potential safety hazards in power supply equipment. Recently, the Red Boat Party Member Service Team of (Jiangbei, Ningbo) of the State Grid Zhejiang Power Supply launched a special service activity of “seedling raising action” to seize the opportunity before the start of school. The checking of power consumption situation was made a routine at all schools, and multiple measures have been taken to make preparations for the start of a new school season.

In recent days, the members of the Red Boat Party Member Service Team of (Jiangbei, Ningbo) of the State Grid Zhejiang Power Supply paid a visit to the Jiangbei Experimental Middle School. Under the guidance of the teacher in charge of the school, members carried out comprehensive inspection and test of power supply lines, distribution boxes and leakage protectors in the school, carefully inspected electrical facilities and distribution lines in the teaching building, administrative building, restaurant and so on, and repaired lines, meter boxes, switches and sockets with problems in classrooms.

“Thank you for always being so considerate. You have checked the power distribution room and power facilities, which gives us more guarantee for the preparation for the beginning of school. Teachers and students can use electrical equipment more safely after the beginning of school.” Teacher Li with the Jiangbei Experimental Middle School said. Before the beginning of each semester, Jiangbei Power Supply Branch would always send special personnel to the school for the very inspection. In case of any power consumption problems encountered, they would be available in the first place to help solve problems in time, so as to ensure daily power consumption safety in the school.

It is reported that in order to better take campus power supply protection as a normal practice, the Red Boat Party Member Service Team of (Jiangbei, Ningbo) of the State Grid Zhejiang Power Supply’s special service activity of “seedling raising action” has also set up a working mode of having veteran employees lead new ones, so that new employees can experience the responsibility of “coming from campuses and then providing services for campuses” under the technical guidance of veteran employees. Up till now, the service team has sent 18 people visits to 7 primary and secondary schools and kindergartens to help identify and eliminate 37 hidden dangers related to campus power consumption, solve 8 power consumption problems, and create a safe power consumption environment for students returning to schools.
