Recently, the Third Ningbo Skills Competition Selection & the Jiangbei District CNC Lathe Vocational Skills Elite Competition 2025 were held at the Ningbo Second Technician College. Elite talents from various industries gathered to stage a heated skills showdown.

Vocational Skills Elite Competition

Trade unions from across the district actively responded and participated, with a total of 33 competitors from 9 teams showcasing their expertise in the CNC lathe field through masterful craftsmanship.

Practical Competition Segment

Part blueprint analysis, programming, precision cutting, dimensional measurement, error correction... Sparks from metal processing intertwined with an intense yet orderly atmosphere. Every segment was a race against time, striving for perfection, highlighting the contestants' solid technical skills and exemplary professionalism.

Theoretical Assessment

The competition strictly adhered to event standards, combining theoretical assessments with practical challenges. In the theoretical exam, contestants had to complete tests covering core knowledge such as CNC programming, mechanical principles, and process design within a set time, thoroughly evaluating their professional theoretical foundation.

After fierce competition, Zhao Wenxiao from the IKD Co., Ltd. won the first prize. Jiao Zhaoduan from the Ningbo IKD Science and Technology Industrial Development Co., Ltd. and Dai Jun from the SKS Hydraulic Technology Co., Ltd. secured the second prize. Zhao Wenquan from the Ningbo IKD Science and Technology Industrial Development Co., Ltd., Zhou Feng from the Ningbo C.S.I. Power & Machinery Co., Ltd., and Zhou Linweng from the Ningbo C.S.I. Power & Machinery Co., Ltd. claimed the third prize.
