In the afternoon of April 1, a special inquiry on the "comprehensive integrated" administrative law enforcement reform in the Jiangbei District was carried out at the 28th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 12th Jiangbei District People's Congress. A total of 30 people, including Fei Weihua, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Jiangbei District People's Congress, and Xie Dewei, Dai Yu, Xu Guangming, and Xia Weifei, Vice Chairmen of the Standing Committee of the Jiangbei District People's Congress, as well as members of the Standing Committee of the Jiangbei District People's Congress, attended the meeting. Han Ligang, Deputy District Mayor of the Jiangbei District People's Government, heads of the Office of the Jiangbei District People's Government, persons in charge of relevant departments of the Jiangbei District People's Government, and some deputies to the Jiangbei District People's Congress attended the meeting as observers, and the meeting also invited some citizens in district to attend the meeting.

The attendees firstly listened to a report on the "comprehensive integrated" administrative law enforcement reform in the Jiangbei District. Subsequently, 7 members of the Standing Committee of the Jiangbei District People's Congress and deputies to the People's Congress, based on their previous grassroots research, focused on areas of high public concern such as the comprehensive inspection of enterprise administrative inspections, supervision of commercial performances in scenic spots, prevention of industrial safe production risks, concentrated rectification of the "four chaos" phenomenon in enterprise-related law enforcement, implementation of the fishing ban period system in the eight major river basins of the province, and prevention and control of water and gas pollution, etc.. They directly addressed the topic and asked precise questions. The heads of relevant departments such as the Jiangbei District Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau, the Jiangbei District Bureau of Culture, Radio, TV and Tourism, the Jiangbei District Emergency Management Bureau, the Jiangbei District Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau, the Jiangbei District Market Regulatory Administration, the Jiangbei District Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau, and the Jiangbei Ecological Environment Protection Branch responded successively.

In order to further enhance the rigidity of special inquiry supervision and promote the improvement of the quality and efficiency of supervision by the deputies to the People's Congress, a satisfaction evaluation was also conducted on the field response of 7 departments that responded to inquiries at the meeting. After the inquiry meeting, a symposium was held for deputies to the Jiangbei District People's Congress and citizens onsite. The relevant person in charge of the Standing Committee of the Jiangbei District People's Congress said that after the meeting, all opinions and suggestions will be collected and summarized in a unified manner. Based on the deliberation and the special inquiry meeting of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress, a record of the deliberation opinions and inquiries will be formed and submitted to the Jiangbei District People's Government for research and processing. For the next step, the Standing Committee of the Jiangbei District People's Congress will also listen to the report of the Jiangbei District People's Government on the research and handling of the deliberation opinions, and strive to transform the results of the special inquiry into practical improvements, effectively promoting the efficient resolution of relevant issues.
