Today, it's learnt from the Public Construction Center that the supporting nine-year system school project in Yangshi, Jiangbei District recently successfully obtained a construction permit and officially started construction. For the families with children, this can be said to be a heavyweight news of joy at the beginning of the new year, and at the same time, it's also a great new start of the livelihood project in Jiangbei!

It is learnt that the supporting nine-year system school project in Yangshi is located to the east of the Yangshu Mingyuan residential quarter in the Hongtang Subdistrict, Jiangbei District, to the west of the Hongda South Road, to the south of the Changxing East Road, and to the north of the North Ring Elevated Road. It is a nine-year system school with 63 classes available. The total construction area is about 63,870 square meters, of which the above ground construction area is about 48,253 square meters and the underground construction area is about 15,616 square meters. The project includes construction of teaching buildings, canteens, dormitory buildings, sports venues, etc..

In terms of layout, the northeast side of the project site is for the primary school department, and the southeast side is for the junior high school department. The primary school department and junior high school department are connected by two pedestrian corridors. The west side of the site is a 400-meter track and field, which is shared by the primary and junior high school departments.

In terms of design, the exterior walls of the school buildings will use imitation red bricks as the main color tone and texture. The campus will be equipped with continuous multi-level corridors, staggered stairs, and combined with layer by layer platforms to form a combination of virtual and real building facades.

In terms of location, the project site is conveniently located and adjacent to the main urban roads such as the North Ring West Road, the Airport North Road Expressway, the Jiangbei Avenue, and the Hongda Road. There is the Hongda Road Station located on the south side of the project for Metro Line 4 and Line 8 (under construction).

It is reported that after the completion of the supporting nine-year system school project in Yangshi, the school will meet the normal education needs of primary school age children in the region, alleviate the pressure on primary and secondary schools in Jiangbei, promote stable, sustainable, coordinated, and healthy development of compulsory education, and lay a good foundation for optimizing the education resource layout in the west of Zhuangqiao and the Hongtang Block in Jiangbei.
