The 19th Asian Games Hangzhou will be held from September 23 to October 8, with Ningbo as the venue to host the beach volleyball and sailing and windsurfing events of this Asian Games. The Adong Fruit is a production base for edible agricultural products during the Asian Games, exclusively supplied to the sub villages of the Asian Games in Ningbo.

It is reported that as early as April this year, the organizing committee of the Asian Games launched the selection of edible agricultural product supply units. "The first requirement for the organizing committee of the Asian Games to select agricultural product supply units is that these units should be local leading enterprises, and the most important standard is that the agricultural products produced should have at least one certification, including pollution-free agricultural products, green food, organic agricultural products, and agricultural product geographical indications, etc.." A relevant person in charge of the Agricultural Safety Department of the Jiangbei District Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau said.

The grape planting base of the Adong Fruit is a provincial-level boutique vineyard, which obtained pollution-free agricultural product certification in 2015 and green food certification in June 2023. The core base of the cooperative is located in the Xinhua Village, Cicheng Town, with a planting area of about 220 acres. There are currently 4 professional and technical personnel, and long-term scientific and technological cooperation relationships have been established with multiple universities and research institutions such as the Zhejiang Agricultural and Forestry University. The sunshine rose grapes planted by the cooperative have won the overall championship in the city's sunshine rose grape competition.

The grape planting base dedicated to the sub villages of the Asian Games in Ningbo covers a total of 10 acres and is expected to supply over 10,000 kilograms of grapes. "At present, the grapes are entering the ripening stage, and some mature grapes have been picked, packaged and boxed, and placed in a refrigerated warehouse." Chen Haidong told reporters that the sunshine rose grapes in the base are transported by the supply chain of the Sanjiang Supermarket, and he is currently communicating with the supermarket about the specific supply time.
