兴建于1995年的宁波市惠贞书院，是一所涵盖小学、初中、高中的“九年一贯”“十二年一体”优质公办学校。学校由明代藏书家范钦后裔、浙江省爱乡楷模、宁波市荣誉市民范鸿龄先生为代表的香港范氏家族和宁波市人民政府共同出资建造。2007年，学校开办高中部。2022年8月，由宁波市教育局与江北区人民政府倾力合作建造，以优质示范高中为定位的“惠贞高级中学”新校区建成投用。自此，惠贞书院形成了“一校三区”的办学新格局。

Built in 1995, Ningbo Huizhen Academy is a high-quality public school that covers primary, junior high, and senior high education in a nine-year consistent and twelve-year integrated system. The school was jointly funded and constructed by the Hong Kong based Fan family, represented by Mr. Fan Hongling, and the Ningbo Municipal Government. Mr. Fan Hongling is a descendant of the book collector Fan Qin from the Ming dynasty, a recipient of the Model of Love for the Hometown award of Zhejiang Province, and an honorary citizen of Ningbo.

The school established its senior high department in 2007 and in August 2022 the new campus of Huizhen Advanced High School, positioned as a high-quality demonstration senior high school, was built and put into use with the cooperation of the Ningbo Education Bureau and the Jiangbei District People's Government. Since then, Huizhen Academy has formed a new educational pattern of one school, three campuses.
