Lately, the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce announced the list of the first batch of 10 provincial demonstration intelligent business circles. Among them, the Pan Old Bund Intelligent Business Circle was successfully selected and is also the only one of its kind in Ningbo on the list.

The Ningbo Pan Old Bund Business Circle is located to the south of the Tongtu Road in our district, surrounded by the Fenghua River and Yaojiang River. It covers an area of 1.2 square kilometers and a commercial construction area of 356,000 square meters, covering the Old Bund Historical Block, the Raffles City, the Green Land Center and other commercial complexes. In recent years, the Pan Old Bund Business Circle has been focusing on the integration and interworking of history and modernity, and the in-depth integration of culture, commerce and tourism. It has become “the most fashionable internet-famous site to take the perfect WeChat Moments snap”, “the commercial pedestrian street with the strongest local flavor in Ningbo” and “the most international window for cultural exchanges”.

Since 2020, our district has been focusing on the requirements of “five modernizations” and “six scenarios” of the intelligent business circle and continuously innovating diversified consumption scenarios. Guided by serving people’s livelihood and facilitating business, aiming at smart life and smart consumption, focusing on smart management and smart services, and taking the application of intelligent technologies and smart infrastructure construction as the path, Jiangbei has been vigorously developing the Internet of Things, e-commerce, intelligent terminal, business circle logistics distribution and intelligent public service platform, developing a standardized service system covering the business circle, optimizing and improving the consumption environment and enterprise entrepreneurship and development environment, thus making the Pan Old Bund Business Circle realize the “butterfly change” from a traditional business circle to a smart business circle.

At present, the Pan Old Bund Business Circle has developed a big data platform for the Old Bund pedestrian street through the integration of three-dimensional manual modeling and UAV tilt photography real scene modeling, so as to realize interconnection with the integrated governance platform of the Jiangbei District to provide services of intelligent security, intelligent assessment and approval, intelligent fire-fighting and so on.
