The Human Resources Market organized the first job fair after the Spring Festival last Wednesday at the Conference and Exhibition Center. Over 130 employing companies with a total 1300 job openings came to the fair. More than 7000 job hunters came to vie for the openings.
At eight o’clock in the morning, the Hall No. 7 where the job fair is held is already bustling with people. Many job hunters hope to find a right job at the first job fair of the year of the bull.
"If you come earlier, you are likely to find a job. If you come late, chances are slim", says a job hunter.
Some 130 employers including Oulin Kitchen, Lishi Group and Ningbo Construction Engineering Company came to the fair with about 1300 job openings. At the booth of the Kaiyuan Group, it offers 400 job openings, as its Jiulong Lake Resort is to open. Another company named Zhedong Precision Casting Co. Ltd is also offering quite many job opportunities.
Ren Meikang, Chairman of Zhedong Precision Casting says: "It is right time to recruit people at this time of the year. Many people are available after the Spring Festival."
Over 7000 job hunters have come to the fair, with the demand and supply rate reaching 5.3:1. In terms of demand, the employers mostly demand personnel of marketing, management, production, trade and technicians. Analysis shows that SMEs and private businesses are most in want of human resources.
